    What mods you had done?

Looks like an exhaust and smoked lights, at least? And the...im not sure what they are called over the little rear windows
Cheers, it's been a long time coming - had loads of stuff sat in boxes for months waiting until it was all ready to go on in one go.

    Stuff you can see:

    Cobra catback resonated exhaust
    Valenti smoked rear lights
Black Toyota badges, all others removed
    18x8 Rays Engineering CE28N
    40mm drop on TunedUK/Eibach springs
Carbon fibre wing mirrors and front wing canards
    Ikon Motorsports rear quarterlight louvres

    Stuff you can't see:

    Grimmspeed full intake
Various small interior mods (switched bulbs for LEDs, interior carbon etc)

Not currently - probably a good call though, the standard one is probably a bit on the low side now. £150 quid though

I got mine on a deal, worth it even at £150 though, it gets it right out of your rear view.

    Looks almost OEM:

Yeah that's a nice bit of kit. I'm inclined to look at cheaper alternatives mind, you can get generic ones on Amazon for 12 quid after all. Might look at an LED bar that goes across the whole rear or something...

Intake made a significant difference but the ECU slowly compensated the power gains away with LTFT. No doubt a remap would bring that back. However the fuel trims doing their thing didn't alter the throttle response. The panel filter had a tendency to bog when at low rpm, this completely disappeared with the intake.

Exhaust added a bit of punch throughout the whole range. Not huge but it does rev a bit freer.

/edit - reworded what I wrote because it wasn't particularly clear. Also added engine pic.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think you will be going for anything that add more power or are you happy with how it is now?

I love what people can do to these, I've seen a fair few when browsing youtube, came across the Subaru equivalent that had been supercharged and had a rocket bunny kit on it...was a thing of beauty

Oh yeah they’ll be a few ponies freed up in the future. The standard car is strangled horribly by the manifold which has a huge cat in. It also has a dip in the torque curve for emissions purposes.

    http://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk/...oducts_id=2567

That package sorts all of that. Look at the midrange improvements - it’s a huge difference.

I have an aftermarket manifold (and TD tune), it is hands down the best upgrade for the car. Torque dip completely removed.

Ahh that's one I was thinking of, I'd seen it when looking to see what was available UK wise for these.

If you can imagine it, it’s likely available for the 86 platform. N/a, turbo, supercharger... plenty of body kits if that’s your thing. Can get quite expensive though since much of it is imported.

That's because it's a carbon mould of an 'OEM+' part, the TRD spoiler.

TRD was Toyota's performance wing, recently replaced by GRMN. They did a series of aero parts (the front canards I've got are also carbon moulds from that range) for the 86 platform, which were approved Toyota aftermarket parts. Mine are copies because Toyota didn't ever do them in carbon, and so that was that. The irony is the copy actually is slightly bigger since it's a moulded part, and actually fits a bit better!
