My advice is find a mechanically minded person and take them to check it out

Exactly, what sort of car are you looking for?, what price?, etc. People can give you hints and tips over the 'net but asking if its the car you should buy is a bit ambitious...

No. That definitely doesn't sound like the sort of car that suits you at all, it's not really what you are looking for. Especially at that price. It doesn't look good in that colour, and it isn't in very good condition, so I wouldn't touch it if I were you.

I think he might be asking for advice on how the 306 is (in general), if they are decent, etc. Not that car specifically.

Another 'big bore' and 306 thread.....bad boy, you're not going to be too popular with some members if it goes in the direction of the last thread involving these two (Big bore actually referes to the cylinder/piston size rather than exhaust)

Have a look in the hexus.pitstop subforum and see huge numbers of posts about problematic 306s

Engine looks good, sounds great, drives a treat!

From the picture everything looks ok as far as I can see.... but like others said.. not much can't be said about it, were not there! (I did post a link giving a review)

Get yourself a Nissan Primera, and if you don't like the looks get an SRI or GT, even then, mod it up more if you need to (Costs around the same price... £800 - £1800)
