Well worth the £70 modding costs though. Anybody can buy a £70 case but none are as individual as this!

It's pictured in the post above the mouse one
A spray can of Simoniz clear acrylic lacquer from a local car repair place.
I rate it over the CarPlan clear acrylic lacquer which I used at first on the case, end resaults where simular but the Simoniz's one was less thick and gunky so sprayed better and left a smoother surface.

great work log this. Its kinda inspired me now. I was going to sell of my old computer parts ready for the new build im doing. But i think im now going to buy a budget case and do a custom build with the old core2duo stuff. And then i can work out later why i want 2 pc's?? ! Great work mate.

Brilliant project - and the detail in the step by step description almost tempts me to have a go at a little modest case modding.

    Re: Project: Spork

Wow, that was a really awesome read. Some bits were funny, especially the bits were you explicitly told the audience not to laugh haha.

Favourite bit is probs the mouse and the copper. The deformed keys were quite funny for me too but not for you I guess lol.

Maybe when I'm older and have more time I'll get into this xD My A* in GCSE DT might actually be useful, especially the BS308 stuff haha.

Had a great time reading this! Very nice job - I might be tempted to do this myself someday (without any income my current Sonata Plus is too pricey to screw up, as I'll inevitably do with my first mod )

Yes, Project Spork has long been finished, it's still running well and my friend is still very happy with it

I'm already plotting my next project but that's a long way off atm.
