From what I've read then x58 don't need the extra cooling the MOFET's might though.

If you also do the mosfet's you will be adding extra restrictions in your loop.

Have you decided on a board yet?
I'm going for the 760 Classified - I have thought and thought and ummed and arred over this decision more than any other !!!!!!! The reviews were all strong and it looks awesome. But the reviews do say that the NB can get pretty hot on passive so that was my line of thought. However, maybe I could see how it clocks/cools passivley and maybe run a seperate loop with the stealth rad for the mobo.

I love the look of the clear topped EK!!!!!

Question is would my 2xRad single loop be OK with cooling the GPU Mobo and CPU?? - With overclocking OFC!

Temperatures should not be a problem but with only one pump and all those blocks you may have problems.

A solution would be to fit another pump inside the loop (the same as I have)

    ie res- pump - rad - cpu- mb block - pump - rad - 280gtx - 280gtx - res

    Nice

With that cooler I wouldn't of thought there'd be any heat issues
Doesn't the nother bridge chip on the x58 just control pci-e lanes?

Not sure, but I read a couple of reviews that said that the onvoard passive cooling can get mighty toasty - TBH though I think that was the NF200 board and the board I have has no Nf200..........

Decided to try w/o cooling the mobo - i've got to try and stop spending any more money!! Just had the builder round and we need to spend £700 ON THE ROOF
Anyways heres how my day off cable tidying/installing is going sofar:

BTW don't tou just love it when you have sent an hour pushing cables/tieing cables to then find you have to undo them all because youve forgotten to fit the radiator!

No it did, really it did - I was trying to be polite

So no more irony/sarcasm or general finger poking please I feel silly enough for being woo'ed by the pretty mobo

Moving on this is where I have got to today:

OK today has seemed quite productive and this afternoon i got the hose cutters out and installed my Aquero

    First hose goes in

    285 gets connected

    i7 gets connected

Oooh lots of hose! - why does that make me think of Keneth Williams?

And in goes the Aquero - I love the simple looks of this controller.

What do you think of the layout? I must admit I'm really pleased with the look - apart from undecided re CPU in hose going behind PCIe cables?????

My biggest concern is that the whole build has gone red/black rather than white and black

So I am thinking of maybe not using this:

    and maybe using Red instead.

    Comments welcome
