    Nice. I cant really compare to mine, but it looks like my size 12 is the same readability as your size 20.
    TV out might be better for you anyway though, but I *think* you could mod it to s-video just as easly as vga, which would improve quality a bit. Mine doest seem to have nearly as noticable gridlines - I dont remember noticing them atall infact, but that might just be your camera.
    How did you get tv on it? and do you have any problems with it when you play full screen opengl games?

    TV is from a cheap £25 TV tuner card & no problems playing games ( im not sure which games are open gl ), i just position the psone screen to the left of my main monitor in the display settings ( but its actually to the right on my desk ) & use samurize for system info on it

    Very nice, what did you do with the power? Are you using the brick or have you managed to wire it for the PSU?

    i replace the old fan speed switch with an on/off switch for the screen

    Very nice mate, well impressed with that. Especially using the composite input, I guess I could do the same from the TV out on my 9800? Did you need to put any resistors in line for the power?

    You could always get a cheap gfx card like 3dfx banshee or someting for it (which im using atm while my 9700 is out) - not as if you need opengl and d3d on the lcd ...

    I have a Voodoo 3 laying around and already have dually monitors. I could run the screen off that!

    Oh, I am SO tempted to get one!

    Nice one, look forward to seeing the pics

    Daz, how deep is the screen? Reason I'm asking is that I'm thinking of putting one on the side of my case but need to consider the drive cages.

    Conan if it's any use, including the casing, the thing is 16mm deep. I'd imagine the LCD is about 12mm

    So I have it apart - the LCD still powers up (goes darker when power applied.)

    Unfortunately I dont' have the right composite cable (one for my camera uses a microjack rather than 3.5mm, GRRR!)

    So, I won't know if it works until I wire it to me Voodoo3!

    $s = new signature();

    Why don't you, quite literally, wire it in? Just wire the positive terminals together, you'll get a very fuzzy picture if it works. Or wire both. And it should work fine. Then you'll know, and let the modding commence
