Yeah I don't have the room either - not without taking a dremel to plastic which is not good. So, I will be sticking it on the window of my case - equally practical.

It wont fit in the 3 1/2's! I dont think itll even fit in the 5 1/2's (mines in the ps one case atm whichis too wide, forgot how wide the pcb is..)

If it fits the 5 1/2's it will be perfect. My 1st bay is for dvd drive, the other 3 are for my hdd watercooling (2 drives) but theres plenty of space at the front of them for the lcd - Just means Ill have to make a bezel for it from my spare sheet of alu

I dont think it would be nearly as good on the side window (mine dont have a window anyway) but that way nothing needs to be cut, just attach it behind.

sorta regret selling the mo to you now howard.. nowhere to put this 5" one and I cant use it when I play games.. hopefully next drivers will fix or the banshee might run it ok as its a seperate card..

yeah the prices seem to have gone through the roof now. i wonder if they'll settle down in a bit once this fad passes, or whether it will kick off big time and prices will go even higher.......

Some of the 3rd party PSOne LCD's only support composite input, so I understand.

    Just check before you buy!

Well I've done a bit of closer inspection. It seems that I can infact squeeze the LCD on the front.

It involves a couple of straight cuts to remove some plastic on the front, and to cut back one of the support moulds, along with one of the retaining clips (there are 5 more so it'll cope without.)

Now, I wonder if I still have any cutting discs left for my dremel...

game, iirc have dropped the price to £39.99 (not including the discount I got), or the price might have been that all along (meaning the git that I know which works there made a bit more proft from it that he was suppost to ), doesnt matter though, I got mine for £37.50 andit involved no effort...

i popped into game this afternoon, and they had the screen for £49.99. It might have been better value to go for the pack that included a PSone console, a controller, an official screen and two games for £80. would hopefully be bale to flog the other bits on ebay for over £30..?

how much is staff discount at game? a mate of mine has a brother who i think still works there...

12.5% for hardware, = £37.50 for a £49.99 thing. However when I walked past game the last few times they had them in the window, sticker on at £39.99 although I think it might have been different box, it definatly had a pic of the screen on the box, didnt get time to go in and have a look...
