I have the same problem from time to time. You do a PC build and mess up the room! Takes ages to sort out back to nice and clean again. But I must say that is one mess past my own one!

    Re: Computer Case/Mods Gallery

An old Packard Bell iMedia 5093. How sad that I can remember the model number of a PC from about 2002/2003. I dug it out of the garage in Spring and decided to revive it by putting Ubuntu on it with a spare hard drive and turning it into a media streamer. The case had been butchered already so I put the PC inside a wooden box. It hardly got used because Ubuntu is such a pain in the bottom to do anything. Then it occured to me that I could use the licence key from the sticker on the old case and the Windows XP Home disc from my self-built PC. In one day in October I managed to achieve more with Windows than I had done with Ubuntu since about March. It now does everything I wanted it to.

    Gigabyte GA-8SIML Motherboard
    P4 2.53GHz
    512mb PC2100 (2 x 256mb)
80GB 2.5" hdd (Quieter/cooler/smaller than the old 3.5" drive that was in it)
GeForce MX440 No good for gaming but it does the job with video etc.
    Hauppauge HVR-1110

I use Media Portal to record TV and stream music and videos.

    Re: Computer Case/Mods Gallery

That is a cm690, at least I don't know of any other case that has the spare screws on the back of the 5.23" bay and thoes feet.

Not sure about removeing the filters and cutting out the grills in the bottom, that will seriously suck up dust now.

I love the use of thoes screw in cable holders (cannot remember what they are called) to keep the wireing neat
