Also, what case is that, and how is it for noise/temps?
Thanks for the comments!
Its a Lian Li PC-7B Plus II with official window panel. Temps are good in this case tbf always been low 30s, noise hasnt really been a problem either though the DVD drive does vibrate a little more than it should when its accessing a disc, Im waiting on some anti-vibration screws see if that helps, apart from that its been spot on, especially for the price, I only paid about £58 iirc.
Cheers.
GTX 280 as main GTX 260 as PhysX, i7 920, 6 GB DDR3 dominator, CM stacker 832 case.
that is indeed madness lol, can i have it haha
Lol couldnt agree more, definitely OverkillA GTX 260 as a physx card?
Madness
With the fan of the PSU facing downwards it is easyer to hide the cables of the PSU because the bunch of cables remain closer to the hole under the motherboard , therefore we can see less cables
tonschk, I know you cut out the bottom grill (as seen in an earlier pic) but have you made any other changes?
Have you used a fan behind the motherboard or not bothered?
Side panel? do you have the standard 2 grills or the window version?
The grill 80x80mm with or without fan under the motherboard in my opinion is important , I already cut out the two 80mm grills under the mobo to install a crosscut passive heatsink 25x25x25mm under the motherboard attached to the retention LGA775 backplate with a thermal pad but I need to upgrade to a 50x50x50mm cross-cut heatsink , I need to take a photo to show this modification

it's messy inside because thats the way i left it after installing it, and i'm too busy actually using it to bother tidying it up.
besides.. the graphics runs this hot -
ooh toasty!!
and I know the GPU clock should say 750mhz, it seems to de-clock itself when idle.
Stevie, I don't think it looks too bad but more importantly, is that a corner desk you have (I think I may have the same desk , I bought it from Makro but Staples also sold it)
format: there was a door on the front, that got annoying though. and it was originally silver and too shiny. (and its not finished yet.) the akasa all-in-one is red, because it was £10 cheaper than the black one.
anyway, who spends all the time looking at their case? I'm much more interested in looking at whats on the monitor and trying to play far cry 2. this case isnt anywhere in my eyeline.
amjedm: ikea jobby from around 15 years ago.
*EDIT* it was from staples. mum just corrected me, it was my chair i got from ikea
