What's the sound dampening material you've used?
Is your motherboard crooked or is the weight of the cards pulling them down like that? or is it just a very odd photo angle?
PS yes the while thing is a bit messy, but I like it for that.

I was bored a while ago and used hammerite paint and a brush....looks ok when the side is on,new case to be ordered methinks.
Yes its the angle of the photo,not the weight of the cards.
As for the sound dampening kit it was one designed for my case by some comapny who's name i can't remember seeing as i'm old and it was ages ago.

lol yea i know,i started out with good intentions but lost interest half way through.it was mostly a test seeing as the case is on its last legs.
got my birthday coming up in June,gonna troll for a new case then ask the missus to get me it.

that HDD cover is a nice touch
I still love the original Fortress such a nice case.
any detail photos as to what you did to the hard drive bay? Looks like you've totally changed it not just put a cover over it.

that looks very nice, so would you say cases without lighting is better, or is it a matter of personal taste?
Matter of personal taste. Some people like flashy Alienware-esque computers whereas I am much more inclined to a case design such as the Fractal Define R2.Originally Posted by mribrahimali
