Bit of a bummer, will have had the console for 4 months and 2 of those will have been spent broke... Kinda leaves a bitter taste in your mouth...

Mate mate just had an error, wasn't three red rings, just the one. His console has been playing up with Shadowrun for a while, it keeps freezing on him, and it's got worse and worse so now it freezes everywhere now.

I know 4 people that have 360s, they've all had it and had to get a replacement. I haven't had it but i've had 3 that have needed replacing one way or another.

Mine is acting up a bit so I might goto Argos and ask for a replacement, anyone know if Argos customer support willingly replace things?

i have just rang MS and they offered to give me a free game has compensation so they will send me perfect dark zero . i still have to wait a god awful 25 days for it to be fixed and that they cant guarantee that they will replace it with a "new one" has what they normaly do is send a refurb which i got!

i did try and ask if they can send me a brand new one with a manufacturing date of 2007 because the one they sent me was 2005! my original one was only 2006.

i am still pissed at them and with all these cool games comming out on the pc at the end of the year i dont think i will buy a single game/accesory for the damm thing anymore. i will just stick to my PC for now and might buy a ps3 by the end of the year..

I am looking to build a new PC but not yet has i am waiting for the SECOND generation dx10 cards to come out. MS has failed me big time!!! f the 360

Way to avoid this problem, asuming its the ventalition that cause the overheating and thus the 3 red lights. Buy a cooler for it, I know Toys 'r' Us do them.
