I maintain that the N64 controllers were comfortable They looked odd (like that boomerang thing) but they were effortless to hold
Theres nowt wrong with the PS controllers. The reason Sony havent changed the design of the controllers is because there's no reason to...if it aint broke dont fix it
I ok with the PS2/3 controllers.. they feel just right I feel..
Don't mind the Xbox360 controllers really.. but they are big, fat and bulky.. and the D pad is just terrible..
Oh yea.. As BSODMike just said.. anyone who plays Tekken seriously will just feel that the DPad on the Xbox will DEFINITELY not cut the mustard..
I think the xbox ppl are finally getting Tekken next year... I think its a time of awareness..
*missed electric launch, missed okizimi, missed just-frame. missed wave-dash.. oh the possibilities can be endless*
The PS controller just fits versus games nicely with its perfect tactile D-pad..
** Hehehe.. I dare anyone to try completing a King multi grapple strings with the Xbox bumped up oval buttons or even Jin, Kazuya or Heihatchi's wavedash.. Lets see those fingers bleed ***

Would be interesting to see how all the 'button' mashing is going to work out with Tekken 6 on the 360 though
generalisations ftw eh
the 360 pad (ergonomically) is just more comfortable. Like sleepyhead says, it's not easy for people with big hands to play on the ps controllers as opposed to, well, all the rivals. At least making the handles longer would help.
Gamecube, dreamcast, xbox, even the ol' classic sidewinder from microsoft are better imo.
It's something that narks me off too. I have never liked the PS controllers, always feels like I'm going to get RSI after using them
For both MS and Sony, it's such a silly concept that "one fits all". From a usability point of view, its stupid.
It's no different to a computer mouse. Some people prefer Logitechs, some Razors. There isn't anything 'wrong' with either, it just depends on the person using them.
Well said Agent
I'm another who dislikes the PS1/2/3 controller, I just find it uncomfortable to hold for long periods. Thing is there's always the chance that the current one is the same because it was easier/cheaper to tweak their PS2 controller production line than make an entirely new one - they are after all making a loss on every console. It would be a bit annoying if that was the case...
Personally the day I get a PS3 is the day I try modding a dual shock to fit inside a 360 controller, heck I might try it before then.
