Same here, got it on PC, couldn't even tell you where I got to then just got a bit bored...don't hate me fans!

the game should be played co-op to appreciate it properly, its practically built to not play solo.

Your opinion so no one can say your wrong . I enjoyed gears of war but the way people talk about it is as if its god(or something) when there are better games out there. Personally i found halo(1/xbox) was amazing but its not the best, the best is Alien Vs Predator 2 that is amazing .

Gears of war 2 is going to be good but nothing spectacular as its just gow with a few updates and a new campaign. I hope you enjoy it, i will be playing fallout 3 and then LEFT 4 DEAD as that is new lol.

i thought all 3 halo games were some of the weakest games i have ever played. in fact i havent even finished one as i got bored every time. The guns feel like toys and the enemies are dull

True, halo 1 was decent and then halo2 failed and halo3 is OK. I didnt play many FPS back then and the split screen on halo 1 kept me entertained for ages . Hopefully left 4 dead does, not ground breaking graphics but they are good and the gameplay owns.

Never finished Halo 1, I just found it to monotonous. Did not bother with the 2nd and only played the 3rd in co-op mode.

I really enjoyed the first GoW game, again I only played in online and it co-op mode. Really looking forward to GoW 2.

GoW is a much better game than Halo. However, Halo is hugely overrated whereas GoW is slightly overrated. Both got blown way out of proportion a long time ago.

never realy got into halo however gears loved the campaign and played the first ones multplayer for hours
