I've not ventured online yet after picking this up today. I doesn't seem so bad from what ive played although i did have an issue installing the disc(s). Until i go online i can't whole-heartedly say its better than Forza 2 but it feels like an improvement - im not noticing the handling issue anymore either now im using different cars (read: C4).

i cant see al these things being fixed in a patch. things like the multiplayer issues and no dedicated servers may never change.

While i dont like the multiplayer i am enjoying the singleplayer game, Gamerscore is a bit too easy to get i felt i really earned my gamerscore on forza 2 but on this i have got about 300 and they have come so easily.

Forza 2 was also very easy on achievements, they just took a little longer, like the ones in 3, there was no skill needed to get them, just play a lot.

I'm loving it at the moment. I've not played online a great deal yet, did a few races last night with a couple of mates and we had no problems at all.

I have to agree with what is being said. It's Forza 2 with a new skin, you still have no feel at all that you are driving a car from the cockpit view and the feedback in the pad is minimal. Also noticed the AI still sticking to a line so you can pick off your over taking spots with ease even with the Ai on the hardest setting. I will be flamed for this but I think the one thing NFS shift got right was the cockpit view, the camera wobble (head wobble) when you hit the bumps, the sensation of speed and just the overall experience of being in the cockpit is far superior to Forza 3.

The online for FM3 is alright at best, loads of drivers just ramming you if you get them on a corner, the next corner they just use you as the braking zone. This is a SP racer for me atm. I picked this up on a whim with the spare vouchers I had and I wouldn't of paid for it I am affraid. For the be all and end all of racers on the 360 it's missing the mark by a mile for me, I just wished for more feedback from the controller. Only done the first season on it and I am struggling to keep my interest in the game. I think Forza 3 will be another pickup and play when the mood takes me like FM2 was. There doesn't seem to be enough in it to keep me racing till the end.

Has anyone messed around with the controller settings yet such as steering deadzone etc ? Also when are we gonna be getting some races poppin folks, RS2000's all around ?

I downloaded to free R8 from Amazon. How on earth do i get it into the game?

It's not appearing in my garage, so where does it go?

You still have to purchase the car from the dealer so it should be with the other R8's in the "Buy car" menu.

the was the wheel hardly turns even when you are giving it full lock is very off putting , and on the one occasion i used it for a race (to get the reward thingy) i found myself running wide every corner

Aye, just GTR you generally got players would would stick to the racing and not play dodgems Starting to get into it a little more now that I am working my way through it
