Hi, i would like to give a bit of impression after playing this game:

Positives:

• Good clean UI design
• Loading times have improved from the demo
• great selection of cars
• slightly better track selection but still many are crap
• Fantastic Gameplay physics
• Great tuning, upgrades and paint job features
• slightly better graphics on the enviornment

Now for the fun stuff
Negetives

• Cars look the same as forza 2 IMO
• No more online public lobbies.
• Cant create a public lobby with certain settings on or off such has forcing everyone to not use ABS
• P2P mp = lagfest with cars flying around the track? wtf?
• Cant use ANY car thats in class F-B in public online races(Again wtf??)
• 8 player grids is useless when doing a race on a large amount of laps set or on a 10+mile track
• Cant load up your tuning options on public online games

I think that its for now. As you can see, Most are legitemant pro's and cons with some being my own person opinion such has the graphics side of things and the UI but when it comes down to actual facts that the online mode of this game WITHOUT mates is really pathetic to say the least.


The gameplay and car selection is keeping me interested in this game but for how long?

thats quite a fair assessment, although having played the previous games the car selection is pretty stale, they will be fleecing us for dlc to improve it...

if the multiplayer doesnt improve the game is dead though, and it wont matter what they release

EDIT: infact turn10 have done the impossible here, they have taken a racing game, no plot, no story progression, no need for a twist at the end, no change of system, and yet somehow they have made it worse.. they have failed at "just add more stuff"

I can't play this game for more than 10 - 15 minutes without being bored out my mind. I know Forza 2 wasn't the most soulful of games but this is far worse, I think it's the way career mode is handled, very poor.

Overall a massive let-down, and I really loved Forza 2.

Since when have racing games needed a story to keep people entertained? I guess it's just down the individual, I played yesterday for about 6 hours straight and could of carried on quite happily for longer.

Same here - having a ball with it . Some bugs for definate but I'm confident these will be addressed

Hey all. We learned over the past couple days that some of you were getting this tampered profile message.

Here are some facts:

We've repro'ed the bug and have a patch to fix this (and other stuff,such as loading tunes in multiplayer lobbies) in a patch we'll have coming out on Tuesday.

This bug seems to happen when you're in the storefront and you'reviewing and rating items, and then suddenly turn off your box withoutreturning back to your homespace environment (where the cameras panslowly over the car). So a good way to avoid this issue in the meantimewould be to always hit the B button out of the storefront all the wayback to the main menu before you turn off your box.

Having your profile tampered means you will have to go into your savegames (in your dashboard go to My Xbox/Settings/Memory/Game Saves anddelete only the Forza Motorsport 3 save game. Do not delete any of theother saves like liveries, etc. After that, you will need to start anew profile in the game, but you will be able to keep all of yourpurchased or created livery files and layer groups, as well as photos,replays, etc. Unfortunately, the cars in your garage will be gone.

Again,we will have a fix for this by early this week. If you know anyone thathas been hit by this bug, please point them to this message.

I'm guessing it might have been for that issue then.

EDIT 2: After a quick read on the turn 10 forums, it seems that you are now able to load setup's in online lobbies now.

Some obvious stuff needs attention too - many of the R2/R3 cars are missing dials and dashboard displays -eg the Holdens and Mclarens - I'm hoping thats addressed pretty sharpish.

Haha thought I was the only one me and my mate did exactly that last night we did all the rally tracks point to point and then the Fujimi Kaido ones... it was awesome. We both have the 360 wheels so occasionally could hear each other curse when fighting the feedback from the wheel! Great times... also just made a 187mph volvo C30 for speedway C Class challenge... 0-60 in 3.9secs... actually lapped another car in game with it... liking this a lot

Only 1 real issue for me

Hard Ai is too hard, medium Ai is too easy, really fkin ruining the career mode for me.

Other than that though, its beautiful.

the more i play this the more i am enjoying it. am loving the one on one heats really loved the nurburgring ones going against the porsches, some real interesting little runs.
