Only 1 real issue for me

Hard Ai is too hard, medium Ai is too easy, really ruining the career mode for me.

Other than that though, its beautiful.

Well you should stick to medium then and/or turn on some assists.

only just noticed, seems turn10 have finished removing a feature they obviously felt too hardcore for the new retard-based market

- in forza 2 they got rid of engine damage from bouncing off the redline before upshifting
- in forza 3 they have got rid of damage from downshifting at too high an rpm and forcing the engine over the redline.

i think that is a good indicator where the series is heading

Are you sure of this? I've noticed a few times the car damage indicator pop up when I've gone down 1 gear to many coming up to a corner. Admittedly, I did not check what the damage was for, as I just assumed it was damage to the engine from doing as you said, shifting down to quickly. I'll test it tomorrow when I'm on, but it's definitely popped the damage indicator up more than once when I've changed down to much.

Maybe you need the damage set to simulation? But I'm sure you would have it set to that anyway.

I still think this is an amazing game. I know it's not hardcore enough for some, but then Forza 2 was not exactly hardcore either. I know it's still got a few issues with online play, they need to sort out being able to use F-B class cars in a public lobby. For me, it's still the best racing game on a console at the moment and will remain the best on the 360 for a long, long time to come. I guess it's the usually thing of hyping something up to much.

aha, no, they have just made it much more difficult to do you need to drop 3 gears rather than just one at the wrong moment. so it kind of is discounted now, no-one is going to go downshift-downshift-downshift without a pause in between unless they are trying to make it happen, which i just was. i remember the demo being ok, hey had swapped the shift buttons around so now and again i would forgeot and go down rather than up and have to restart, as per f2. they have toned it down A lot, i can lock my wheels using nothing but engine braking and be ok

did the mugello enduro on monday night, all remember from lap 10 onwards was crashing into things

i checked this morning and i had actually completed it dont drink and drive folks, or do but save the replay

as for the best racing game on 360..its still forza 2, until issues are corrected , which i have no faith they will be.

ill tell you whats depressing, i got to level 50 or whatever on f2 mainly through multiplayer, and has a lot of fun doing it. but the only way i can do it here is single player because mp is kackered feels a lonely game

no, it came back for a bit, got to the title sceen but while i was faffing it locked up.

not restarting it again till tomrrow

actuallly it went straight to the game and bypassed the live stuff, WHICH IS ODD

Madduck I got that recently and I tried a different power brick. It works fine now.

You know what? in the past two days my brothers AND my mates 360 broke!! coincidents? if mine breaks again for the 7th time i wouldnt be bothered as i have a ps3 and a pc.

My brothers PS3 died 3 days ago as well, I wonder if that had anything to do with Forza?
