TBH, i was jsut wondering this. I blasted round the 'ring in my Lupo in around 8 minutes or so (literally, turn in accelerate, laugh at the endless amount of grip).

I tried doing the Mercedes 'ring challenge before (in the Gullwing) and it was a lot more realistic (sliding, braking) and my time was also around 8 minutes.

Saying that, I've not noticed the physics option in the menu either like on Prologue.




But it was fine yesterday and earlier today. It's getting longer each time i turn the game on If that is the issue, its embarrassing, how much worse is it going to get

Like i said, game is sending retrieving data all the time and because it is peak time in europe with millions trying to connect to GT5 its struggling big time.

EA's fifa 11 does the exact same thing as GT5 i.e does background sending and receiving data continuesly through the menu's and when playing a game btu because its done on a background thread, it never interferes with the main thread(the ui, the actual game etc..)

I get that, but its only a cancerous selection (I'm guessing they're randomly generated) and theres no decent search or sort option.

The Bugatti and RB car must be unlock only then as neither have a manufacturer in the 'new' dealership'.

Bugatti is not premium, RB is in Polyphony

the load time on startup was awful for me last time night would take two minutes and kept coming up connection timeout or some such.

So far am liking it. was always realistic it could never live up to the 5 years of hype but its a good solid racer go karts are fun and quite enjoying other aspects too.

So far - im liking it.

Load times are getting annoying already - and this is after is did the 8-10gb install.
And this is with a 7200rpm hdd in the ps3 as well - ssd time methinks

BUT - Im liking the driving. Ive changed the wheel settings to Pro, turned ABS off, Skid off, Traction off etc, and even while im on the starter tracks, the car feels good.

the difference between the kart, the nascar and the yaris is very noticable.
just a shame sleep and work have to get in the way

his not completely blind. there is no such dealer called PD, however their is a dealer called gran turismo with the cars you have just mentioned

Load times are insane. I resorted to pulling the ethernet plug, definitely made the waits a little shorter.

I'm pleased with the handling - at least on the lower level cars since that's all I've driven. I love the fact that most of the time when I proper lose it I end up in a fishtail that's virtually unrecoverable. Looks great on the replays. I need to set the wheel up properly though, not being able to get reverse on the paddle shifts is very annoying.

Haven't got the money to get a decent premium car so have been stuck to bumper cam for now, but I wish there was a way of turning the HUD off. I never use it so it kills some of the immersion for me. Still, maybe that'll be addressed at some point.

Edit: I love the fact they've included the SP1 from Ferarri, but wheres my Nike 2022!
