My tribe is better than your tribe.
Do we think that many of these pre-orders will be going to people hoping to make a killing by selling them on Ebay?
Cough. Goldeneye/Perfect Dark - PERFECTION.
Halo was poor. I completed it repeatedly, but boy was it poor, the only reason anyone liked it was because it was the ONLY decent game for the Xbox.
Points against it:
1) Crappy moon gravity. Come on, what was with that crap jump.
2) A grand total of 5 weapons (not the exact figure, but you get the point)
3) A grand total of 6 1/2 enemies. I mean come on.
4) Health system. Crap. Wait behind a tree or run off to get your life refilled. What a stupid idea.
5) Deathmatch was poor.
Good points:
1) Co Op. A well done FPS Co op has been missing since LAN Doom.
2) Vehicles were quite good.
3) Level design.
4) It wasn’t Timesplitters.
It was repetitive, flawed but fun. 8/10. No higher.
I take exception - Quake 2 had great co-op, as long as you didn't mind the brown

Oh yes, you love the opinions. Unless the opinions that are offered are in any way contrary to your own.
Someone offers an opinion you don't like, you take exception and attempt to undermine them with some inane sarcastic comments and a totally unnecessary patronising tone, lovely
Well mate, when you have stoped moaning, you are free to actually contribute to this thread, rather than complaining about my posts in it.

Got anything to say about the PS3? If not stop posting in the thread please.

I suppose I can take your point on the Ninty games. They are good games (not my thing, but whatever), and they do have some new ideas in them, but quite a lot of negative comments about the PS3 are directed at the number of sequels... anyway, moving on.
If I was recommending a console to someone who was new to console gaming, I'd have to recommend a 360 right now. It's better value for money, and will give the great gaming experience instantly. I'm viewing the PS3 as an investment. I happen to be fortunate enough to buy one at launch, and if it doesn't work out, the 360 isn't too badly priced .
I do think that a lot of pre-orders are for ebay selling. What seems to be happening is people are pre-ordering from as many places as possible, to guaruntee one at launch, and then instead of cancelling the rest, they will ebay them. I think it's despicable to deny genuine buyers a console at launch just so you can profit from demand.
Well its not very nice, but this is the real world, not the Guardians lifestyle page. If someone can make a quick buck who are we to say its not on? If they end up on eBay they can still only sell for what people are prepared to pay - supply and demand. Nowt wrong with that.
Actually I think it's wrong, but I also accept that it's human nature and will happen
Oh sweet Jesus Rollerskating Christ, not THIS discussion AGAIN!!
