Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond.

Its their 17 minute masterpiece. I saw this song at Glastonbury in 2002 performed by Roger Walters. It really is a true classic like all pink floyd songs.

I smoked two massive joints whilst this song was being performed and it made it sound so much better. By far the highpoint of my Glastonbury experience. Its a fantastic stoner song as well!

Well if you have your doubts about listening to heavy metal, you should at least listen to Metallica's '......And Justice for All' 1988 Album. Classic Metal!

If you don't like this then u will never like any metal!

I've just gone through an entire album trying to find a track for people to listen to, but I can't!

If I HAD to pick a song then it would be:

An eagle in your mind by Boards of Canada

It's from the album Music Has the Right to Children and I thoroughly recommend the album to everyone, it's a kind of off beat, relaxed, slightly out of tune electronica. I didn't know I liked this sort of thing until I'd heard it. You can't really judge it by one song though is the problem, the album is more like a journey - not the kind you can put on shuffle!

The idea of the thread is

Basically what I want every music lover on these forums to do is to suggest a track which they think is unjustifiably obscure, underappreciated etc

Don't get me wrong, Insomnia is one my fave tunes, but hardly an obscure track!

Slung-lo by Erin Mckeown from 'Grand'. Excellent cheery sort of a song. Rest of the CD is spot on as well.
