Scepticism about the blurry picture was appropriate it seems: http://semiaccurate.com/2013/05/20/a...-architecture/

Cape Verde is fabbed at GF?
As far as the Goldman Sachs announcement Intel shares also dipped on that day.
Dell reported a 79 percent slide in profit at around the same time.
Which harmed both companies shares, although Goldman did give Amd a bit of a hammering.
Just ordered a 965BE from Ebuyer as they are on offer, a last hurrah upgrade for my son's old dual core setup on an AM2+ motherboard.
Thought these offers on the old chips were dried up.
AMD overtaken by Qualcomm and Samsung in market share by value.

Not sure what he means on the line starting with: If AMD do launch...
I wonder if they mean VI, or just the SI refresh coming to desktop?
Looks like the Temash/Kabini reviews are starting to appear:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6974/amd-kabini-review
1 line from anandtech page 1 says it all about how unbiased they are:
intel has been playing catchup with SoC for years , yet anand ignores that small detail.how Kabini stacks up against Intel’s current ULV offerings, and where it falls relative to ARM offerings and Clover Trail
edit:
seriously anad
The Ivy Bridge comparison is really just for reference. In all of the lightly threaded cases, a 1.7GHz Ivy Bridge delivers over 2x the performance of the A4-5000.
so why even HAVE IT in your review then!
`hey heres a chip not even in this market - a hex core 2011, but were including it for comedy factor cause intel pay us`
They explain in the article. The HD4000 performance is what they consider a minimum level for PC gaming, so if AMD's ULV part can reach that level then it might be suitable for PC gaming. As it happens, it can't, but Anand very fairly say that the chip is still suitable for other non-PC gaming for example tablet stuff.
