starting to get bored now 50&#37;, taking a break as it feels like i'm grinding

Played about 4 hours, and I'm bored of it already..

I'm fed up with every car handling like an oil tanker, the fight system being utter tosh, the gun targeting system being utterly rubbish, the camera keeps getting in the way.. etc etc.

The graphics are pish too.

Maybe if they patch it, it might be worth looking at again, bit it's looking like this one might be getting traded in/ebay'ed..

The games has also locked up three times, requiring a reset.

Tried driving via the bonnet cam someone else mentioned. Makes it a hell of a lot easier to drive.

Sleep mode on your phone is good, allows you to explore to your hearts content without getting phonecalls or texts. It basically puts the story mode on pause.

definitely easy to drive through the 1st person cam and the city looks better from that view.

I have come to like the driving either way, just not in sentinels... for some reason they really suck at taking corners

Been there, done that, got into a firefight with some cops and lost

What really bugs me is that none of the AI drivers seem to be capable of stopping in time to prevent themselves hitting you even if you're stood completely still and they're coming from miles off.

Ps3 has now got a 1.01 update, it's 18mb and supposedly will fix up those freezing problems which i havent experienced but is known to occur. Out of 6 friends only one has had gta4 freeze once.
You could say it was nice and quick of them but also should'nt have been a problem in the first place.

Completed today, and managed to get the <30hr achievement!

Will deffo go through the story again, paying attention to all of the cutscenes this time.

Still so much to explore.

I got my third copy of GTA and the damn game still won't work

It just keeps on freezing. I have started new games, deleted save data, disconnected from live and it still won't work for longer then 20 minutes. I can play on all other games fine, I just finished a 3 hour session of COD4 and no probs at all.

There's been a patch released for the PS3 version, which may help.

Mines on 360. After spending an hour with Microsoft support they "think" its the hard drive so they're sending me a new one free of charge

If it still won't work then I'll sell a hard drive and buy a couple of games with the money
