blimey is that the same engine? or is it just a similar engine by crytek? I've remember running that and going woooo look at those effects on my GeForce 3 .

This patch DOESNT add quick load / save function and quite rightly so... this function would make the game A LOT easier imho.

I think the way it works now is spot on. quick saving kills most games, although I can see why people love it so.

Love it Multiplayer on a LAN its awesome...I found letting go of handglider and plunging into water then getting on a rock and nailing gunner in heli was a blast and I agree AI is very good, and with eyecandy like that I can live with a bit of a pap story line, not to far in but mwahhhhhhhhhhh this game rocks

Only things that are now tending to piss me off are:

crap voice acting, spesh Jack and the bird. Splinter Cell and Max Payne are far far far better
The basic monsters that jump and hit you can hit you from a few hundred yards away it seems which is a tad unrealistic seeing as standing next to a bus going past doesnt make me die in real life (air rushing past).
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

Just out of interest, remind yourself of playing Half Life originally when it first came back, how does this compare to that?.
