Dead links Steve, but I've seen the vids.
I wish PD would concentrate on the game instead of releasing blody promo videos heh

im on fire with gt5 stuff today, http://www.gametrailers.com/video/tg...-turismo/56838 new video
I remember reading a couple of months ago about the damage being pretty poor and feeling somewhat like an afterthought. Have they done anything to make it any better? Not that it really matters I suppose.
Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean
haha yea
Another video http://www.gamersyde.com/stream_gran...-13050_en.html
It does look absolutley amazing, i bought a PS3 purely for this really as i'm a massive fan of the series, ever since the original on the PS1!!
But to be honest i've got fed up with waiting, as mentioned previously i don't think that there have ever been any actual 'release dates', but after prologue and constant news, it really seems to be dragging, so much so that ive been a Forza player now for ages and am eagerly awiting the 3rd installment.
Having said all that, of course i'll still buy it, looking at the stills (photomode or not!) and the vids, you have to be slightly crazy if you own a PS3 and don't buy it, just my 10p's worh mind!!
he starts off from the pit lan
anyways more news, apparently confirmation of features
This feature was first revealed in a 8-minute long interview with fellow French JVN on September 28th, 2009. At first, this news was relieved by British website Gamezine (who didn't made any interview) but following the issue of IGN's own mini interview later the same day, Gamezine then claimed the weather conditions availability was unsure.
This rumor has now been smashed by Gameblog's latest interview which confirms the introduction of weather conditions in upcoming Gran Turismo 5.
As a teaser for the upcoming video version of the interview, Gameblog revealed additionnal informations as follows:
*there was an embargo upon GT5 interviews
*European release date close to March 2010 / official announcement is imminent
*day... and night races
*rain races are coming back
*tyre wear: refining of the grip loss
*950 vehicles garage
*20 locations around the world
*70 circuits variations
*new vehicle physics
*damage deformation of each part of the car... according to the speed and the impact's direction.
*replay upload on YouTube
*enhanced GT-TV + video export from the PS3 to the PSP
*on day one: possibility of uploading a hundred of vehicles acquired in GT for PSP... to be used in Gran Turismo 5
day and night races and rain races no dynamic weather or time changes in races then

i understood that he started from the pit lane, just wondered what the hell was going on? If it's qualifying why is he going into the middle of the racing pack, and if it were a race why would it be just the player that starts from the pit lane and joins the pack racing round????
Just seems a little odd, unless you can save the game during the endurance races??
