Wasn't GT5 meant to be a PS3 launch title? And thus exceptionally delayed?

I'd get a PS3 only if I could use and Xbox 360 controller with it. I honestly cannot get on the the PS3 controllers flappy thumb sticks.

lol. Fair enough that a wheel ought to be used. However, financial and location of bum on sofa need to be taken into account

You can use your 360 pad on a PS3

But if I could, I would actually be tempted to get a PS3 just for GT5. It looks utterly stunning.

And it needs to be fast. Really fast. Though Forza 3 does pretty much everything GT5 will do, it feels slow. In an Audi R8 and and racing loads of other high performance cars just feel pedestrian. It needs to be faster than GRID but not as fast as Burnout Revenge

I actually bought my PS1 back in 1998 just so I could play Gran Turismo! It was half time during the England v Columbia match (which we won 2 - 0). Motored into town. Bought the PS1. Motored back. Watched the 2nd half (no goals). Set up the PS1. Played GT1 for a couple of years

a proper HD trailer, rather than the cam (you would think in japan someone would have a 720p camera with a bit of zoom?) should be out any hour now

Weather effects are nice, but the follow cam mode looks cheap - the car looked like it was floating on the track.
