I'd get a PS3 only if I could use and Xbox 360 controller with it. I honestly cannot get on the the PS3 controllers flappy thumb sticks.

Now I am impressed - being able to use an Xbox controller on PS3 is awesome!! But I quite literally cannot get a PS3 (I'd get my ass kicked by the missus - lol) what with already having an Xbox 360 and Bluray player. But if I could, I would actually be tempted to get a PS3 just for GT5. It looks utterly stunning.

And it needs to be fast. Really fast. Though Forza 3 does pretty much everything GT5 will do, it feels slow. In an Audi R8 and and racing loads of other high performance cars just feel pedestrian. It needs to be faster than GRID but not as fast as Burnout Revenge

I actually bought my PS1 back in 1998 just so I could play Gran Turismo! It was half time during the England v Columbia match (which we won 2 - 0). Motored into town. Bought the PS1. Motored back. Watched the 2nd half (no goals). Set up the PS1. Played GT1 for a couple of years

comes out in october, and its actually been confirmed. i only bought a ps3 for gt5, now i hae a feeling, that it was not money well spent, as i will need to buy a g27 steering wheel

Weather effects are nice, but the follow cam mode looks cheap - the car looked like it was floating on the track.
