I did but that doesn't give you the cars, only if you preordered, including the Skyline and RS4 which wasn't stated anywhere on the preorder sites.

The update news that I posted was just a general update for the game, fixing some of the online problems.

As for the cars you're looking for, I believe they are free for everyone, not only for pre-orders. However, they haven't yet been added to the Live Marketplace.

They're a few unhappy people (on the atari official forums), including myself, over this downloadable cars situation. They've not advertised this pre-order get the R34 and RS4 at all, only the Zonda and McLaren F1 LM

Can anyone confirm whther they have a "refferal code" in the first page of their booklet. If you don't you can't get the 2 cars. I don't have one even though I got mine a day before release, so it apparantly isn't one of the first 175000 copies.

but only because I monitor their advancement towards the release date, I like to know that its coming when I need it.
And I still don't have TDU btw... I didn't get an email saying it had been dispatched yet, so I need to chase that up. *sigh*

there's quite a few people who've pre-ordered who haven't got it yet..strange.

I hate pre-ordering stuff, I want things on the day of release not whenever they feel like sending it.

Xbox Live members can now download the free ‘Launch Pack’ for TDU. In the pack, you’ll find: The Audi RS4 quattro Saloon and the Nissan Skyline GTR R34. This content is available in all Xbox Live regions.

Looks like the two new cars are finally up for download.

The Skyline is well... they've got it soo wrong its unbelievable, stage 3 tuned its still slow (when anyone who knows anything about Skylines knows that when you tune them, they can become aboslute monsters). The gear ratio is wrong, they do up to about 80-90 in second, not 58. I'm a bit dissappointed.

Give me a few days and you can probably have it mate, I went from being extremely interested to finding it mundane very quickly indeed. Especially with the way they treated me on their forums and directly with Tech support when I queried their initial decision to release the Skyline and RS4 to pre-order only customers, its put me off the game and Atari as a publisher for a long time.

It's a shame that Atari srewed up the launch. It seemed as though this was first title to be released on their way bcak to their former glory. Hopefully things will settle out before they release the PC version [/vain hope].

Hah, looks like they're contemplating suing me for libel over a few issues (which I made comments about on their official forum) I have with the Official Websites description of the game. I'm game for it to be honest as they've honestly made a few mistakes which mean if you read it, then bought the game you wouldn't have what you thought you were getting.
I'll let you know what they say to me about it.
