hexy meant "UK are blu-ray region B"
PS2 and DVD are also region 2 NTSC, rather than region 2 PAL
and you will have no warranty

    Other than that, all good!

Great so my Japan model covers regions A and B then
edit: speedy speedo beat me to it

region A has US, Central and South America, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South East Asia
region B has Europe, Greenland, French territories, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand
region C has the rest: India, China, Russia, Central and South Asia

Although, region A has a wider choice of BD movies, plus not all discs have the regions enforced, so the majority of region A discs will play fine in region B players and vice versa.
    There's a list here: http://bluray.lindsite.dk/

Formula one is pretty fun to play, although it seemed to be very nanny-ing with the racing line being so clear

Thanks very much for the pics.

I presume you've got it hooked up to a tasty surround system ? Sony by any chance ?

No probs. I can try and do some more videos if you want. I may even try and record the 5.1 pre-out so can give you a DD preview

Yes, I have an STR-DA7100ES amp which kicks big time.

Oh and for people saying you need mega expensive cables for it all to work, I have the freebie supplied Sky HD hdmi cable going from PS3 to amp and the cheapest 10 metre hdmi cable going from amp to projector which cost me about £20, and there are no problems, even at 1080/60P

I think you have a knack for making innocent comments that turn into 9 page grudge fests
