My resting heart rate, when not in condition - last time I had the check I hadn't done any exercise in months - was 54bpm, and my heart rate when doing strenuous cardiovascular activity is around 140-160.
My blood pressure is textbook perfect, as are a number of other measured levels. Of course, high metabolism (not talking people who are simply skinny with big appetites, but those who burn through calories and operate like radiators) isn't going to override serious medical conditions or heriditary illnesses, but all other things being equal, it's a lot better for you than a regular metabolism. Plus you get to eat what you like. Bonus.
