well firstly we have no idea if this is an organised terrorist attack or not - it could be a lone nut angry about anything - it was in the theatre area of London. Plus it doesnt sound a very professional job either
talking about keeping a low profile.Bouncers from a nearby nightclub said they saw the car being driven erratically before it crashed into a bin. They said the driver then got out and ran off.
Plus it is inevitable that the security services will not catch everything - the amount they have halted is amazing (and scary).
missed the part about it being driven..
i know they cant catch them all
A 'potentially viable explosive device' featuring gas cylinders. Even a single propane cylinder makes a hell of a bang. Saw one go up in a camp site fire in the Emirates once; just a little football-sized one. I wouldn't want to be in the same street as some proper gas tanks going off.
To be honest, it's a bugger to catch someone doing that. You can buy gas cylinders anywhere quite legally, and a trigger device isn't that hard to devise either.

To be honest at this stage it's all speculation, we don't know enough to see if it's an out of the blue event or whether someone dropped a clanger. May be many months before that becomes fully clear, I just hope we don't get another knee jerk anti-terrorist bill in the mean time.
well more a light metalic green, reports are either silver or greem having looked at a pic, its green
(no one run for a train for the next few weeks, will no doubt be another shoot on sight policy )
apparently to be told to stop in every concivable language "just incase"
yeh we all know he had it coming by not stopping.
there was an interesting commentator on the BBC breakfast new this morning. He was basically saying that the 2 hour news stations are blowing this whole thing out of proportion with their speculation.
Tony thought it would be hilarious to scare the excrement out of Gordon?
Maybe that's where his car went yesterday?
