That would of been. I wonder how many more will happen before the month or week is out.
Doesn't say if anyone was hurt or not, i hope not.
Don't the coppers at Glasgow airport have guns? Should of shot the buggers.

Attacks.... I like the language the media uses.... http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/06...scuits_please/
What we share with everyone is glum, and dark...
Police have described one of the men as a "flaming idiot".
Just got a text from my cousin about this. She lives in glasgow and we are flying out of there in two weeks. She isnt keen on flying at the best of times, not she is just a little scared.
Glad no-one was hurt and that this 'attack' not convinced it was one myself, seems more like someone panicking when their jeep caught fire. Which is what everyone would assume if a pair of white guys were driving. Then again i've not read much about it yet I only just heard, so I could be completely wrong.
Just doesn't seem like a well planned terror attack. You don't need 2 guys to drive a car, an airport is mainly metal and cheap marble, so not that flammable. Unless of course their bomb went off prematurely didn't explode properly and just caused a fire. That used to quite common with the IRA.
Oh well, no-one was hurt that's the main thing.
In my view, although the london cars and this might not be directly related, if oddballs who view themselves as "freedom fighters / terrrorists" believe that some movement or momentum is gathering, hearing about one event could trigger others to do dangerous & stupid acts too.
I can see that this could be one of those times

You have to click on the "Man 'tackled driver' " or "Eyewitness 'hit driver' " links on the main page or on that story. Brilliant description by the 'eyewitness'.
Apparently reports coming in of explosions heard in the Manchester area (according to Sky news) and sirens
Although nothing confirmed as yet

Me neither...its all about the Glasgow airport thing.
Jeez, wondered how long before 'that guy' turns up, and mentions race. What are you talking about? If a flaming Jeep crashed into an airport, and two men got out, attacked the police, etc, we'd assume it was something dodgy \ a terrorist attack if they were white, black, yellow or brown. Why try to bring race into it?
Anyway for the rest of us, this is being treated as a terrorist attack, according to Sky News.
Chuckskull - you would appear to be right - you know nothing. It seems highly unlikely someone just lost control, according to eye witnesses after the crash the man poured petrol on himself. Of course, don't let the fact that you haven't bothered to check even the basic facts deter you from trying to turn it into a race issue.
Its about being able to go to work, or for a drink, or to an airport, without men, womena and children being murdered in cold blood. Nothing to do with race.
I wouldn't expect you to understand.
