and as for my previous post being silly, if you bother to actually read it, all i have stated is that i think compared to last year West Ham will do better (than one place off the drop), while Arsenal will do worse (lower than 4th)... meaning that arsenal will be a fading power while the hammers will be improving

J.o.s.h., if Barca offered to buy your whole squad, do you think Henry would be the only one that went ? I can appreciate that Arsenal are a massive club, but to many people Barca are a bigger club still, and many also think the Spanish League is preferable to the Premiership. So if Henry thought along similar lines, why shouldn't he go ?
I support one of two half decent teams in a woeful league. We both get 50,000 attendances, and probably the majority of those 100,000 people think they're supporting the biggest club in the world. Totally wrong though. And I don't imagine many of our players think it either.
One of the best players we had in recent years moved to your lot to be a squad player, then got injured and farmed out to Barca where was played out of position but did OK. He'd have been our star player but decided to be a small fish in a big pond rather than the other way about. You can't blame a bloke for trying.
Also, maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't you start a thread a while back where you'd been in a job a few months and you were already looking for improved conditions ? So what will you do if they never get better ? Stay in the job forever just to be loyal ? I doubt it
nothing wrong with wanting to go but lying to the fans about staying in arsenal is abit wrong. plus the fact that he chose his career over his only daughter. good one henry
edit: actualy bigblue there is a guy at work thats loyal to to the company dispite getting poor pay. i wont be like that. im looking to move after a year

I personally am fearful of barcelona if we were to face them again in the CL (chelsea supporter) henry is not past it, I just think he was in too much of a comfort zone at arsenal and the move will do him good.
no doubt barca are a fantastic side but are beatable like any other side in the world. it would be a good test to face barca at some point in the season has arsenal will have nothing to lose now that we are the underdogs in the champions league, and the premiership.
i cant wait for the new season to start, i can sence some real surprises for arsenal. i recon we will either come close to winning the league or finish 6th-7th....
many here will agree on my second opinion based on the fact that you all disagree with just about every comment i have made in this interesting thread.

Barcelona will be fearful with Henry as he has players around him to give him the support he needs, if Arsenal and Chelsea face Barca in the CL if J.O.S.H was manager they would be sure to lose as he under estimates how good Barca can be.(without Henry)
Most of Arsenals play is on the floor - I ask do they have anyone who can cross the ball? I think now Henry has gone the instigator of the team with no one who can head the ball or take people on I think they will find it hard to score next season

Winning the Prem and coming 6 - 7th is quite a big gap to what extreme football knowledge did you pull this comment from? Plus do you not realise by saying many people will disagree with every comment you make puts you in the firing line for people to comment?

well its true though innit? most people here support henry. you say we will never win the league? its not impossible though and you say we cant score goals? i recon we will do fine, that da silva guy is a clinical finisher. just look at his past goal tally. before you critisise his goal tally take note that he has scored agains england and italy. i think he even scored again isreal who englands rooney and co couldnt do

O and one more thing, have u ever seen barca play? if you did you would of mentioned that barca ALSO play football on the floor, not just arsenal. dispite arsenal being a crap side has u say, why are arsenal AND barca the most entertaining side to watch in europe? because the play similar football, just that barca can TAKE there chances and atm arsenal cant. your quick to critise arsenals way of play when its the same has barca. nice knowledge of football mate

don't think they support him J.O.S.H just think they are opionated on the subject you generally brought up. Just because people opose what you say does not mean they like Henry they just acknowlege his skillz and replying becuase you are baiting them in with silly un-educated replies.
