you see this is why i keep comming to this thread becase people like u put words into my mouth. please indicate in this thread where i said henry has been rubbish all the time. have you even read my recent posts? there about arsenal has a whole, not about henry. some people here were critisising arsenal has a whole. im just stating my opinions.
It realy doesnt bother me if you respect me or not, i wont lose sleep over it. has long has i dont break the rules of this forum, i dont see a reason why i should stop posting here in this thread unless a mod can tell me otherwise.
untill then i will keep posting my opinions regardless of what you and others think i mean am i wrong to post my opinions in a FORUM?
it also amazes me the amount of times people have turned a blind eye on my opinions and resort in finding other topics to discuss. for example whats my salary or job have to do with this topic? whats my avetors message have to do with football? LOL you guys are funny but i wish we can stick to the topic in hand and thats about football.

NEVAH!
I do however find it amusing that JOSH seems to think that Wenger is the transfer king when it comes to bringing in players, and yet when Henry left for 16M transfer policy wasn't mentioned...
Don't you just love football fans. Sales of rose coloured tints in this demographic group must be at an all time high
Football players in general are fickle things. For example - look at Alan Smith (first one that popped into my head). Months before he even moved to Man Utd he was kissing his Leeds badge on his top, yet now he does the same with his utd Shirt.
Years ago players used to be loyal to the one club, but now with the astronomical wages they get and "celebrity" status they get within the UK they have grown past this loyality and only see the nice green colour of money.
So, Arsenal has lost 2 of their better players to bigger and better clubs. Good for them thats what I say. What you need to remember is that they are trying to make a living and as such moving to another team with better pay is very similar to you going for a new job and getting the position. Just because they're job is " football " doesn't mean they have to stay in the 1 place they first went to does it ?
I suppose if Arsenal somehow have some superhuman youth players that come into the team this season and perform better than Henry and Freddie then all this debate would be instantly forgotten
It's clear that the removal of Dein has been a catalyst for whats gone on, but without having all the facts and figures to hand it's hard to estimate how much of an impact it was overall.
See that confuses me completely, the whole point of involvement on a forum is that i want people to think my posts are of value and enhances the reputation of being either helpful, informative, funny etc.
If people don't respect your posts and just laugh at your posts you are just generating a lot of people that are just laughing at you. Don't get me wrong you are handling yourself fairly well, people aren't getting pissed off at you, they are just sighing and shrugging their shoulders with "Josh why don't you understand you are making yourself look foolish" just admit that now is the time to quit surrender to the nature of the conversation.
Because people will keep posting comments back, such as the concept of finishing, yes finishing, the situation that you must do to win games, you can create 100 chances, if you don't put 1 away then you still don't win games. I think i'm fairly safe to say that Henry is your best finisher (or was).
But the thing that got most people involved is the blinkered nature of the posts. Its the old addage of i'm going to stick my head in the sand and sing LALALLALALLLAL.

Josh, you are entitled to post what you think, and I have no problem with that. However if you ever wish to have your views considered seriously on any topic - not just this one, it is important that people have a least a certain ammount of respect for you, or everything you say will be taken as junk, and this is the reason its not just what you say but how you put your point across.
To rephrase that as I was highlighting / para-phrasing the attitude of "he's amazing when he plays for Arsenal - but not as good when he plays for a rival club"please indicate in this thread where i said henry has been rubbish
andHenry had the best years in arsenal, he will never play has good as he did in arsenal
But, you also saysome of you think he will play better at barca than in arsenal. That shows the lack of footballing knowledge some of you have.
Which highlights my point of how you put your message across. You come across as a little kid, name calling in the playground as someone has a better toy than you.i am happy with what he has done at arsenal but not happy in the way he left us
Those able to discuss and debate are tyring to highlight the very thing you called Henry for doing is the exact same thing you have been looking at doing when you posted the thread on your career/sallery.it also amazes me the amount of times people have turned a blind eye on my opinions and resort in finding other topics to discuss. for example whats my salary or job have to do with this topic?
eg: Henry said he wanted to stay with Arsenal and signed a contract to stay
You said you wanted to be employed by your current employer and signed a contract to stay with them
Henry then decided for what ever reasons that this wasn't the best thing for him to say and looked at alternative employement - agreed terms and found alternative employment
You looked at changing the terms (pay) of your employment and if they didn't meet your desired standards you looked at agreeing terms and terminating your contract to find a "better for you" situation. This would apply if you wanted to move house to a different location, have more money or any reason. He terminated his contract for his own reasons, in the correct and proper manner, in the same way you considered and asked advice on how to deal with it yourself.
It is Inevitable.....

From what I have read it would seem that Freddie wanted a challenge and that leaving Arsenal and going somewhere else to help them build was a challenge he wanted.
This is why I don't visit football forums anymore. Way, way too many muppets.
If Henry was playing that day and even he didn't score then you would assume that he is not a clinical finisher and is not required, therefore his leaving is not that bigger deal and therefore we don't need him so he couldn't be leaving us in the lurch.
I agree that we need a clinical finisher or two, always helps but Arsenal's problems are a bit deeper than this imho. We are not as sturdy at the back as we once were and we are still missing Viera.

define name calling for me please because i have not called anyone names in this thread but others have of me such has yourself stating that i am a little kid. Listen henry was making good load of cash at arsenal and he stated himself that he wil stay for the rest of his career. a year after he goes and blames it ALL on wenger who he said is going and david dein. The arsenal vice chairman stated that henry made up those very same excuses. Now if wenger signs a new contract and david dein comes back, henry would look like an idiot for saying that. Henry is 30, he has very HIGH expectatons to live up to, and in the world of football, AGE does matter a hell of a lot... Thats why IMO he wont be has good has he was at arsenal.
30 goals a season, and a load of assists for barca? i doubt that
Just to please you guys this will probably be my last post and i will re-bump this thread at the end of next season to show you the decline of henry's career .
i cant beleive this thread has gone on for so long, i stopped posting here right after i asked who will replace henry at arsenal. Than someone had to to critisise me yet again dispite the main argument was done and dusted
Depends on who yu feel did the dusting? and I like it how you say probably be your last post. "decline of Henrys career" LOL
I say old chap how you believe its the decline of his career is behond me!
