Harvest all my organs, and burn what's left over. Then sprinkle me under a hedge.

The bit I have strong opinions on is the conveyor belt or lift at the crematorium. I am not a chicken at the supermarket, I do not want to go out on a sodding conveyor belt. Carry me, roll me on a trolley, just pick me up and throw me into the back room for all I care, but no conveyor belt.

Equally, no lift, I'm not a Hammond organ for heaven's sake.
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.

Viking style for me, please. That's assuming I don't get reanimated to feed on the brains of those of you left behind.

well, the funeral is for those left behind, not the departed, esp for them to get closure, so not as simple as "it's all up to me"

also, burial isn't so attractive any more, in that bodies are no longer decomposing as they used to - too many preservatives from the diet. Net result: liquid nitrogen-type freezing, then immediate tapping with a hammer, resulting in lotsa little pieces. These are then desposed of. I kid you not - like the end of Terminator II.

    oh, FWIW, nobody is good.

That sounded ridiculous so I googled it.

The idea is to freeze and vibrate the corpse into powder, no T2 style smashing with hammers! It also appears to have nothing to do with too many preservatives, in fact I couldn't find anything to back up the statement that people aren't decomposing due to preservatives in the diet at all, they simply want to save space and pollution from burying people with metal (i.e. mercury) medical work in them. Do you have any references?

of course not! a friend told me about it
and I'm not about to let science stand in the way of a good story.

as for the hammer, it would work. They prob don't use one because it would take a lot of smashing to get the tiny bitty bits, and it won't appeal to the prospective client - being hammered into the grave - doesn't make for a good advertising slogan.

cremation is good cuz if you're family wanted to keep you then it saves a lot of space and plus its cheaper. what is the point of burying expensive caskets? just a thought

Not really sure, would like to donate organs to people who need them. Then maybe a cremation or even turned into a diamond, good quality one , then get pawned!
