Are you American? I've never met anyone outside America (and it's massive marketing campaign which they are trying to bring here) who likes that crap!

    Bear in mind:

The original purpose of this concoction was medicinal; being used to cure everything from an incessant cough to digestive problems. In Germany, it is still widely recognized as a digestif and is kept in many German households for such purposes, sometimes being irreverently called Leberkleber, or "liver-glue."

I do NOT want a shot of liver-glue Give me Ouzo!

It does have that hint of Benalyn to it

still if you think thats bad , you should try Underberg !

there are many odd drinks that continue to baffle me. Buckfast wine is high on that list.

The question we all should be asking is:

Why is the PIMMS company in business?

It's the worst drink I've tried in a long time. Mr Smily "It's Pimm's O'Clock" man can stop smiling. It's gross.

    Long Vodka;

    Vodka
Fresh lime - not lime cordial <bleugh>
    Angostura Bitter
    Tonic water

If I don't fancy mixing it up I'll either have a neat Vodka straight from the freezer or a black Sambuca with coffee beans.

What the hell's wrong with you Bazzlad?

I'm not a Yank, but Jager and Red Bull is heaven. Less Than Jake like it ffs! I have plenty of mates over here in the UK that love it and anyone I introduce to it becomes a big fan. You even tried it mixed?

    Edit:

A second favourite of mine is a good ol' Jack (or JD as some say) and Coke. I had a few too many last night and ended waking up sat on the toilet at some silly hour!

Long Island iced tea is a great drink - I used to be able to get Long Island iced tea mix which had all the spirits in it , just add Sours and a splash of coke

how were you given your pimms ? its possible that you just had a bad one , made correctly its a great summer drink.

possibly not the way to drink pimms.

    It should simply be

    1 Part Pimms
    3 Parts Lemonade
    Ice
    Few mint leaves.

I always like creamy ones for some reason
A good cola cube always goes down well, not the rubbish ones they do at revolution either
Polish bullets are pretty good too

    Permanently confused
