So can i have an insurance choice at the same uni as my first choice?

technically you can, but its rare as unis normally give you only 1 offer, unless there in completely different departments of the uni (you need a decent personal statement to do this) and then maybe, as if its the same depo, like computer systems and computer science youll only get 1 offer - for the poorer course to keep rejection numbers down for the uni
