    Re: Spread Firefox Day

Got it as well... There doesn't seem to be much different from the betas and RCs but web pages are certainly loading noticably faster

Edit: I still don't like the way it's handling toolbars. I've got three in addition to the main address bar, each on seperate lines; it would be nice to squish them all up on to one or two lines.

I've tried that, I'm not sure if it's FF or the way the toolbars are written but they refuse to coexist on the same line at the moment...

    Re: Spread Firefox Day

FF3 is not as shiney as it should be though considering the hype around it. There are problems with FireFox 3 losing network settings and not remembering proxy settings, the awesome bar I wish I could turn it off. Anyone else had the problem where you click on your favs or the search drop down boxes and all you get is a black box with nothing in it. We've had it across 5 different machines this morning all with different setups and hardware.

This version is utter toss. Going to go back and stick with version 2.x.x.14 and wait till there are a few updates with version 3.

nope havent seen that, changing across from 2 on all the comps here right now and from rc3 on the ones at home last night. seems pretty much perfect. but then again it has since about beta 3 for me

I've downloaded, but I think I'll wait for all the niggles to be ironed out first, before I install it.

Plus, I need FireFTP, Google Toolbar and FlashGet/GlashGot to work properly before I'll even consider changing to it.

Ahh, the good old "official" releases

    Re: Spread Firefox Day

FireFTP and Google Toolbar are already updated to work with FF3, not sure about FlashGot though.

Seems to be working fine so far, though not sure I like some of the changes they've made to the download manager.

Fixed my tabbage issues with Tab Mix Plus... it's apparently not compatible with FF3, but it IS... and it's here: http://tmp.garyr.net/tab_mix_plus-dev-build.xpi
