    There was another one similar...

    "He was covered in rashers"

Anyway I was a little worried about the strain, considering Viral mutation etc, until I learnt that it wasn't anything new and this had already happened 30/40 years ago.

At least it keeps the pharmaceutical companies busy

Not busy, just hope it doesn't affect my cheap flights to Hong Kong

Re: swine flu.... are you worried?

There is something to be worried about, concerning the forthcoming aporkalypse, and it's not the 50 million odd peeps who were killed in the 1918 Spanish flu, it's imagine how crap it would be to get normal flu now.

You get a sniffle, start to feel tired, your eyes are watering, you think - yay, swine flu, I'm gonna be famous! You run to the Doctors and it turns out to be normal, or as it will probably be known from now on 'gay tramps' flu.

    The shame!

You've told all your friends, Max Clifford is on the phone, you have an interview to do with North East Today, and you get normal flu.

Your friends would be like - normal human influenza virus! lol! That's not even HD ready!

So remember folks, don't catch an unfashionable disease.

Well. I guess this won't fizzle out like Bird Flu then. This could actually be very, very bad news.

Damn, there are only 61,999,999 people left in Britain now...

Without trying to **** on a dead man's grave, it's not exactly going to heap misery on an entire country, is it?

I still couldn't give a flying duck. And I've got a cold. "Oink".

Screw the other 61,000,999. You know they'll die and it'll be people like Barry Manaloe and Cliff Richard that'll inherit the earth.

Not a major worry yet still, the thing about viruses is they affect different people in different ways, depending on their immune system response. In this case it could well be the man had little or no immune response to the virus, or he could have had a *massive* immune response which killed him.

Until they release the atopsy report, and it says without a doubt he died from primary symptoms (e.g. pneumonia), then there's little reason to worry.

They have always said it mutate into a different strain that would be a lot nastier.

Right now it is supposed to be pretty harmless to healthy people. But right now they cannot seem to contain it. It could get nasty.
