no, not worried

And we're now in phase 5;
a Phase 5 rating indicates human-to-human spread of the virus into at least two countries in one region
What is it 'involved' in? Odd turn of phrase. I have never said I don't think this could be not be serious and if you read where you have quoted me I said I think it likely to turn into a pandemic.
I just generally object to your delight in doom mongering and your wild, uninformed guesses. That's all really.

I'm quite partial to any of the animal ailment almanacs.

Now that is some absolutely amazingly awesome alliteration!
Not around too often!
there not wild uninformed guesses, ive been looking at the map that mblaster posted and looking at all the cases and links, thats how i knew level 5 would be announced in a few hours. that's how i know it's a pandemic, as it is in all continents of the world and is contagious. 8 confirmed deaths now outside of Mexico.. and im not doom mongering im just making some macabre fun of the situation.. fear and excitment go hand in hand..
your the one slowly getting worked up so just chill out. im sure you'll be fine, ive got some ffp3 masks if you want one ill post it to you free of charge.. but remember cadavera vero innumera
Ooh, Latin. Shame we don't really use it in medicine any more, us docs are too dim. I think your watching of sky news may also have led to your knowledge or the raise in level, they have had the story for a little while. Also a am actually very calm thanks, I certainly have not been sitting there looking at maps, using pots of vaseline and boxes of tissues!
Alliterate with us, it might take your mind off it!

Sky news? It's a bit sensationalist and tends to blow things out of proportion sometimes. But hey the BBC is better. The only problem with 24 hour news coverage is that there is never quite enough news! Anyways I hope those broken bones heal soon, rib fractures can be bloody painful!

Well it seems to be getting about more where bird flu failed.
Still not worried though. Just watching the news and seeing how bad things will get. Whether they will contain it or not.
I think if this gets to the stage where people in my area start catching it I don't think it will worry me too much. At the moment I go on public transport but I would probably cycle to work and wear one of those surgeon maskes.
Heh, you know I'll customise mine by painting fake blood splattered on it.
I think that is it really. Just avoid public places with lots of people. Not a lot else you can do.
So bring it on EEuuuuueekk.
