My brother works for a diagnostic company here, they take samples from London hospitals and private clinics. 2 samples today that are suspected and awaiting confirmation. He'll be doing over time tomorrow to deal with the demand.

Shame this varient isnt going to cull the population by a few % or so - less than 0.1% die of H1N1 varient due to its upper-respritory tract infection (as opposed to H5N1's lung munching habits - lots of side effects like pneumonia)

What I find interesting is that those face masks people are wearing does not protect you effectivley.
And that because this Swine Flu is new, we have NO vaccine for it. And it could take months to make one for it.
