i just come back from holiday and i got big probles with them right now.

i hate them alot, and ever since i come back they are EVERYWHERE. i have just accidentaly killed 2. I dont mind the little ones, but when ones that are like 7cm long run out on to your keyboard, it gets annoying.

How do i get rid off them?

i need solutions no consequinces. i know they eat flyies etc. i want to know how to get rid of them

well, apparently, cats eat birds, dogs eat cats (not sure about eating) and I've heard goats eat dogs.

I'm a bit sceptical on this point though.

(Some) humans eat most of the listed. So going back to the first post, just pick them up and eat them/put them outside/squash+flush them. I doubt there are so many you can't rid of them yourself.

Get the hoover out! open up a can of....... errr suckage on the creepy little beggars. You could use a clean hoover bag and release them back into the garden maybe? would that work? don't want to be cruel, no matter how uckie they are with their eight eyes, and eight legs and their skeletons outside their bodies

This thread reminded me of a mate telling me about Aussie Huntsman spiders. Probably one of my worst nightmares. Apparently they can have a legspan up to 30cm, and often like to drop on you whilst you're in the shower.

Although judging by this picture, they aren't very good at hiding:

so far the best idea i have is

i got a 150mW blue laser pointer that can burn stuff, works great on spiders but they seem to be over running me
