    Re: Derren Brown Yesterday

I was always very disappointed. It didn't seem to be in his usual style of messing with our minds. It seemed way too straight forward and more like something you would see on mythbusters rather than Derren Brown.

I don't think the camera does move. If you watch the footage carefully, you'll notice that the camera shake looks a lot like it's shaking within a fairly small range and within a fairly limited up/down/left/right, and it always seems to return to being dead-on. On top of that, the perspective doesn't seem to change. It's a subtle effect, but it looks like the camerashake comes from someone filming their telly rather than a genuine three-dimensional scene. My suspicion is that the shake is, in reality, just an effect designed to make the split scene thing seem impossible, and is 100% fake.

Camera shake is really easy to do on the fly in post processing, don't trust that at all.

    Re: Derren Brown Yesterday

I've got tickets to go and see him live now

I don't know what to belive about the lottery. I think that it was just a camera trick, because how can people just writing on a page give you 6 winning numbers, they were in a sub conscious state weren't they, so it's just random...

The last 5 minutes, where he was discussing option 3, did he do that, i know he wouldt admit it, and the way he was saying it was making it sound like he did, or was that just to make you think he did, when it was a camera trick after all?

Either way it has everybody talking, some aren't happy and are dissapointed that it wasn't his usal mind tricks and stuff, but they will watch the series now to see if its an improvement, won't they...

    Re: Derren Brown Yesterday

I was a little disappointed as I thought he was going to honestly show how it was done. Real shame.
