for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
All people have their own opinions.
Seems like people are looking else where for change now
For exactly the same reason that people support any other political party - because they agree with the majority of policies that they espouse, and wish to see them implemented.

BNP are known to be racist. I doubt many people will vote for them
I am living proof that you can be hideously unattractive - and not be a Nazi......oh, wait....
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Actually, it's more like the BNP are very good at targeted campaigning - that is, they'll go to an area, find out what people there think, and then highlight the appropriate parts of their policy that will win them support. EDIT: I should also add to that that the people who would be inclined to support the BNP also probably don't bother researching the rest of their policies or thinking about whether they make sense - they just like hearing someone provide them with a rallying cry...
But essentially, yes, it's because their policies and opinions actually represent the views of a small minority of the population of this country. Sadly, there will always be a core of narrow minded bigots who think that anyone who isn't like them should be shot or got rid of, and that an accident of your place of birth is more important in determining your worth than your personality, abilities and opinions.
So, long answer short, because people suck.
what sparked this post was the pledge that they would stop immigration of a certain race and religion.
Now I just find it amazing, given how Nick as a person shows how badly you need to stop inbreeding advocates something which will limit that.

As I said, the vast majority of people who would vote BNP probably don't know any more than one or two of their policies - the ones that they think are relevant to themselves. Although tbf, that's true of the vast majority of all voters regardless of which party they support. Add to that that a lot of people don't actually like the leader of the party they'll vote for - they'll vote because it's how they've always voted, or there's one particular policy that caught their attention, or it's who their parents voted for, or one of a hundred other reasons that have nothing to do with a proper comparison of the relevant election manifestos of the parties.
For a lot of BNP supporters, it's because they live in areas with high immigration and are finding it hard to get work, which they blame on the immigrant population. They think the BNP will get rid of all the immigrants and magically find them jobs, missing the point that the reason they can't get jobs is because they're nasty, lazy, bigoted chavs with no skills or education.
However, since I believe in true democracy, I'm quite happy for them to have a party to support, and would accept them having seats in parliament (although I'd be very concerned and disturbed by it, given their horrendously bigoted viewpoint and tendancy to stir up ill-feeling and violence). And frankly I'd much rather know which bits of the country were filled with bigots, so I could be sure to avoid them...

And it's very easy for the BNP to come up with those policies, because they don't need to risk getting on everybody's nerves - they're already incensing a fairly large proportion of the nation so it's not a problem. And there's no need to back anything up with economics, because they aren't popular enough for a large number of people to want to analyse the figures.
So they can turn around and say
"No more Muslim immigration into Britain"
"We'll build 11 aircraft carriers"
"Bureaucracy will be stopped"
"All hospital waiting lists will be cut to 5 days by sacking all the managers"
"We'll protect British manufacturing by putting tariffs on everything foreign"
Etc - there's no consequence to what they say, so they can say what they like. If it sounds good, it'll go in.
Well, a few sweeping generalisations, and you could argue that saying that those that are unemployed are because they are "lazy chavs" is an equally bigoted view!
However I agree that the BNP should have a platform if only so that their policies can be subjected to scrutiny - which is why it was right (IMHO) that the BBC gave Nick Griffin exposure on Question Time. However that additional exposure does mean that they may attract more support. And they have won a seat in the European elections (and frankly, Europe is welcome to them) and in some local elections - so they do have some popular support. And targeted campaigning isn't soley the preserve of the BN
P - it is a tactic employed by the mainstream parties too.
