An example: "Today I Went To The Shop", maybe it's just me but I was wondering if anyone noticed the same?

My answer is...probably however texting and IM have done so much to butcher usual writing skills, it is hard to say I've noticed this in particular.

I use the exclamation mark so much it almost has no value any more!

If you're seeing this on forums it'll be an autocorrect/remove thing.
Most(?) forum software swaps ALL CAPS POSTS for Title Caps Posts.

...one of my pet hates is the use (for reasons that completely escape me) of the apostrophe for plurals, as in "I went to the shop's" The logical reply can only be "The shop's what? Door, manager, checkout?"

Seems language writing skills are going downhill no matter the language.
For some strange reason, I capitalise the start of some words when I'm typing quickly, but I usually notice them and correct when I'm re-reading things.

I was going to say that I probably capitalise non particles for titles, but having made a quick search on my previously started thread, I actually don't.
