apparently the numbers relate to the sweetness/bitterness of the wine and are not printed on the bottle but are given on the shelf. Is anyone else thinking i should belt her with a cricket bat?

No offense, but wouldn't she throw a really big one if she found out you were posting all this on a forum? I know I would be if I were in her shoes!

not the wife yet goddamit i'm too young for that.
ab, you may have a point but then again she probably relays far worse stuff to her mates over the phone, in fact i know she has relayed worse to her mother on the phone before so, like the Murphys, i'm not bitter

    PMT, no doubt about it
Scary how irrational women can feel when they have PMT! I know it's a nightmare for you men, but it's not very nice feeling like that either..... I'm sure you'll be forgiven soon

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

Get you coat and shoes on, tell her you are going out drinking with your mates, you don't know when you'll be back, but when you are, you expect your dinner on the table, steaming hot.

    Works everytime.

    Trust me.

Have decided on a course of action. I will take her computer apart and neatly pile up the pieces and tell her to build it herself unless she apologies, gets her bitchass back in the kitchen and make me some pie.

Does it invlolve lots of eggs? Lol

I'm one of those women by the way, completely irrational and constantly snappy. I don't know why I am like this but I am paying for it now as my fiance has just refused to marry me because of it, and we were supposed to be getting married in 7 weeks :/

eeek - sorry to hear you got on the end of some hormonal backlash ...

Thing I usually do is say "I'm in a meeting" and bugger off to the pub for a few hours, by the time I get home at 10 looking weary and a bit worse for wear, I slip into the house and volia - they are usually calm, chilled with the phone glued to 1 ear talking to their mother/sister/next door neighbour etc so by the time I jump in the bath all is forgotten

    Works a charm !!!!

Oooooh! I am starting cake baking projects to keep me busy at the moment.
I always get all of the ingrediants out of the cupboard before starting, I was brought up like that. In my family if you do one thing thats remotely stupid it will be written down in memory on permanent record and dug up in times of a boyfriend coming to dinner for example
