g4z i think has correct way of thinking, tbh life is too short to spend it bickering with someone else who's clearly not making you happy. that said we all have the odd one off spaz, in fact i think it's be a bit odd if you didn't, but a constant grinding away is really awful suffice to say i've learnt that its best to pull the rip cord if it goes on...its fairly obvious to spot the signs but the earlier the better.

i'm fortunate enough to have a good mate living around the corner who is single and always has beer in his fridge, too much grief & i pop round there.

we have a few mates living in the same area so i'm often greeted by other outcasts from the marital home when i get there....if any of our respective partners ever heard the conversations that go on there'd be a sharp increase in the divorce rate!!

all the same, going round there & bitching with my mates is probably better than staying at home & having a barney.

dude, tbh man you wanna just tell her to bugger off, I wouldnt take any of that crap from my lass and I wouldnt expect her to take it off me (well she does anyway, but thats just because I am allways under a lot of stress...). Im amazed you even walked her to the shop or even bought her a bottle of wine, the simple thing is to never do any of these things and then she wont have a problem.

Treat others as you expect to be treated yourself ! If you wouldn't expect her to take it off you tell me how you find it acceptable to treat her like that (oh yeah stress) But hey we all get stressed from time to time.
