I need too tone my stomach big time! I looked at some of these blokes mags...(not those ones! ) and they all seem so in depth, I just wanna start doing sit-ups in the morning and wanna know a sensible amount and a technique that won't break my back as I’m 6’3.

Dont know if there is an exact figure, but I would say start low 10-20 and build up... You'll know if you did too many the following day Someone else can prolly give you a more informed answer though

I need to tone my abs up too. Apparently your standard sit-ups are not the way to do it.

They do work !!!!! LOL I have just bought one last week. Just a cheap £4 one.I've used it a couple of times so it won't really have made much of a change yet.I'm lazy so I thought I'd give it a go.When I have a beer it goes straight to my belly so i thought I'd get one of these to work the beer off in a easy non excercising way.I think I'll go and pop it on now.LOL

To get a decent six pack I'd reccomend, standard hands behind your head sit ups.
To start, 10 to the left, 10 to the right and 10 centre, ending with lying down, head half a foot above the floor and simply hold your feet one/two inches off the floor. You'll really feel it and will notcie tonnage within 4 weeks. Build up the amount you do as you get comfortable. It's bad to exercise before you sleep and/or after you eat. I do mine in the morning.

Thanks bud, do you recommend sticking my feet under the radiator to keep them down?

Yes until you learn not to, you see if you leave them out you'll be able to use your legs and back to help you meaning your abs won't get the full attention.
I started on 10 each way, then gradually went up until I was doing 75 each way, from there I decided numbers weren't important and did them with weights on my chest. As I've just re started boxing again, I'm getting toned seriously before I have medicine balls dropped on my stomach! Remember to do press ups too, else you'll have great abs and weedy arms (I'd reccomend press ups BEFORE sit ups....you'll learn why!)
