Chris will be missed by us all here
So sorry to hear about this, still a shock, even though we knew it was coming. Chris gave us all a lesson in facing his illness with dignity and strength. As well as you all seeing how well loved he was here, please know that his love for you all shone through his words.
GNU Chris, mind how you go.

I've been back to this thread countless times today..
Still no words..
I've followed this thread and the fight Chris had was amazing, what a guy and a massive part of the community here, although I tend to only linger I can remember so many posts way back when and its always sad when someone succumbs to cancer, a true fighter till the end with his head screwed on and so calm as well RIP and thoughts for all the family. I'm certain it will be a beautiful send off at his funeral and I truly wish you and family the best going forward.

Hi Kate,
I wish I knew him better, we were forum buddies even before Hexus, so we'd been in forum circles for nearly 20 years. Chris came across as a considerate and caring man, and he always carried a conversation with respect and aimed to be helpful, which I imagine were attributes of him in the real world too. I am so sorry for your loss, even though you knew it was coming I'm sure there's an element of shock - take all the support you can get from friends and family, and also try and take some time to reassess, I wish you and your daughters all the best for the future, and feel free to come and post anytime you want to get something off your chest, you don't need to be a stranger to us.
So very sorry to hear, condolences to you all. Thank you for posting & if HEXUS was even a little help then I'm glad - most of all, glad he had such a family as yourselves. Will be thinking of you on the 19th, & wishing you all anyone can at these times.
