    Thanks all, yes it was incredibly moving, it was very nice to be brought into Chris' family circle, and I got a hug from Kate and a nice handshake from a gent who I assume was Chris' Dad.

    I loved the way Chris' wicked SOH came thru, esp introducing himself to the celebrant as "the deceased"....

    As I said to Kate, I never met the guy, but feel, along with you lot, that I knew him.

    It was a great send off.

    Oh and one more thing, a horror which I can only now reveal .... Chris was a ginger !
