Symantec kills off free Sygate firewall

Oh, I see..looks quite nice although as I said I've heard a lot of complaints about Dlink and their support so in my experience it's just a lot of troubles. My friend who bought one got really disappointed, first the wirless seemed to work very good he had it stationed up in his parents room (the room above his) and he got a great signal. After a while he decided to have it down in his room for a while, and it still worked great he could be upstairs in the kitchen and still get a good signal. But after a while the signal became really bad, it didn't work upstairs anymore and he couldn't even sit in his room and have a good signal. So he thought he could change firmware, but this you couldn't do apparently so he send in for service and this costs quite much and he told them about changing the firmware. They kept it for quite a while and when he got it back the signal was as bad as it had been and apparently the hadn't changed firmware at all...

Right now I'm sitting at another friends place and he has a Dlink and I'm just a few meters from it, and I have a low signal.. and it is said that it should have a range of 100 meters or something like that, well not this one...

But good luck, maybe they've upgraded things...
