I think maybe the best way to resolve this is if we all get together, go stand outside his house, and just point and laugh for an hour or two

I can't see me getting positive feedback either, oh well
He could be after a friend you know over ebay.
OMFG!!!! Do you not know anything?????!??!? You have just invoked the power of Murphey and atleast one of his various laws....Originally Posted by smtkr

... your problem isn't eBay specific though, the amount of people who buy PC components without a bat in hells chance of ever installing them is amazing, and they all damn well turn up asking the IT guy at work, me !, how to deal with it
Well, I do have a Pentium D 830 and a motherboard coming ( http://www.thetechzone.com/forums/sh...threadid=80375 ), but they are more likely to be sold.Originally Posted by Nox
What makes you think my next system build will be any different than my others?
I just used my digital camera to record and burned it on a CD and sent that with the game. I also got a neighbour to confirm it was working also.Originally Posted by XA04

THOUGHTS WRITTEN AS I READ THIS THREAD IN ONE GO!:
The poor guy probably thinks he can plug it in through USB
I always state that the product is working as is and will be tested before shiping. It will be securely packaged in static free bags and then can't guarantee if working on delivery and then just quote RMs £30 free insurance deal.
Likely... I wrote about what my card could do when I sold it some time ago.Originally Posted by Ljuboja

As for ESD I'm just sensible - ie I don't take off a jumper and rub it inside, and don't rub feet on carpet and everything is fine. With a v. old computer that I was about to throw I rubbed the RAM on the carpet and all was fine (didn't actually run memory test stuff - but worked ok )

I love your point and laugh tactic Oresa
