One of the things I love most about the M3 is that it is undemanding and sedate if you drive at sedate speeds. Unlike some cars I've tried, it can be driven comfortably as day-to-day transport. I'm quite happy picking up the shopping from Tesco in it, and it doesn't really garner much, if any, attention.
But then, when you need it, it goes like ..... well .... something pretty damn quick.
Also, it's not
that obvious, from the exhaust note, that it's a quick car. And the styling is distinctly understated, so unless you're interested in cars, not really at all overt.
But then, hit the loud pedal and that mild, restrained exhaust note changes to a very meaningful snarl.
It's very definitely schizophrenic.
