To the OP, if you really want the cheapest 24" and be almost guaranteed a VA panel then the yuraku is by far the best choice. no issues about it being a TN panel like the digimates that found elsewhere, you've already got quite alot of links to them as well!

Here's a link to a comparison between the two dell 24" monitors, one being a TN panel and the other a PVA. For about 330 quid you can get a hyundai w240d pva panel from scan. I've got one and it's great, did breakdown recently but the customer service was great. from pick up till they repaired it and delivered it back it took less than a week
If you want the cheapest then get a yuraku, steer clear of the digimates if you can. as for the same price you get the best chance of a PVA panel and also the benefit of having HDCP which the digimates don't have. If you can spend a little more then read the reply to the above quote. hope that helps

Thanks I didnt see the pva bit lol on the description.
yeah they're really good spec for the money. it came out just before the dell 2408 so for the money the monitor was probably the best value for money when you take into account the number of inputs and adjustability. got it hooked up to my pc and also ps3 atm, the 1:! pixel mapping is a god send as it means i can run the ps3 without the display being stretched. only the dell can beat it in my eyes atm, as it has displayport and memry card reader (reader is a bit useless to me though....) i think it's quite reasonable priced since i got mine for over 400 quid at xmas
rufeo how is it for games? I am hoping my new rig with GTX 260 card would be enough for games abet a little slower of FPS
I thought picked up parts for a new rig was bad enough but getting a good monitor for a reasonable price is bad enough
Just been commenting about a Hyundai 240D (PVA version) in another thread so thought I'd step in with my thoughts. One of the primary reasons I bought this screen was for use in gaming, I was tempted by the 2408wfp but the huge input lag put me off (not sure if the newer A01 revision has fixed that or not). The Hyundai has low input lag, I didn't personally notice it in my CS:S sessions so definitely good enough for me.
Being a PVA screen it has decent image quality and after calibration I found the colour reproduction to be excellent. The range of inputs is handy and means you can hook up any console. The other important thing is that the screen supports 1:1 pixel mapping and scales images very well. The only reason I'm getting rid of mine is because it's faulty. I get random green lines flashing horizontally across the screen when it's displaying moving images, very irritating but not something that effects all the screens obviously.
I bought mine on today only from scan for a bargain £320 delivered. Very impressive and I've seen it on the page several times so may be worth waiting if you're really interested.
I've got a gtx260 as well, and it runs fine. only game struggling being crysis. Did have a 8800gts 640mb and it was coping with it before my upgrade. good thing with the gtx260 is that they seem to be overclocking fairly well, got mine heavily overclocked and it should run as quick as a gtx280 based on the overclock hexus did on their BFG gtx260ocx review.
in terms of games, the monitor handles it very well. no input lag and no noticeable ghosting. There is a bit of inverse ghosting, but i can only notice it when broswing forums. it definitely doesn't show up in games unless the whole background is going to be a constant colour.
Probably the best selling point of this monitor right now is that it is definitely a PVA panel. unlike the tn panel that have been cropping up in the DGM/yuraku monitors.

I ended up with the Hyundai 24" PVA panel mentioned above after find out a friends Yuraku was a TN panel. OCUK have them on special this week and if your a frequent forum poster you get free delivery so it can be had for £305 delivered.
I'm personally chuffed to bits with it, I find its great for gaming, COD4 looks amazing at full 1920x1200 and the colours for use in photo editing are excellent once calibrated.
For a review of the Yuraku, and how to tell what panel it is have a look at
